Cleaning wall tile grout

Hello all

Does anyone have a good effective method to clean wall tile grout?

My grout has become a dull grey colour now and I want it to become whiter again.

Thanks in advance to any replies.

I paint it with neat bleach, leave overnight and wipe the next day.. if it is really stained I use a toothbrush to scrub the bleach in..

best tip.. chisel it out and regrout with coloured grout ;) (mine is grey in the kitchen with glitter mixed in)

If you're going to the trouble of chiseling it out guys, can I recommend using epoxy grout to replace the cement grout?

Epoxy grout is waterproof, so it won't absorb stains or mildew in future.

    The bleach method.

First I scrubbed with warm soapy water to get most of the lose stuff off, then painted thick bleach (neat) and left it on overnight.
In the morning I washed it all down.
