Which to apply for first; mortgage or credit card?

I'm looking to move house in June to start a new job, and will be getting a relocation package from work to pay for reasonable expenses up to £5000 to cover the cost of selling/buying/moving.

I'm just getting my flat moving on the market, and have in mind that I'll temporarily put solicitors fees/removals van etc. on an interest-free credit card to save taking my own money out of savings before I'm able to claim it back from my new employer in June.

I've got a decision in principle on a new mortgage, but haven't been through a formal mortgage application yet.

I'm just wondering which I should apply for first; credit card or mortgage, given the impact that both may have on my credit score temporarily? It's very high at the moment (999 on Experian), and ideally I'll apply for the CC (£5000) soon as I need to start paying estate agents fees etc, but if this will knock my credit score such that I might struggle to get the mortgage (which I'll be formally applying for in the next two months) I'll delay, or scrap the CC idea all together?

Any thoughts welcome!
