A quick bit of advice about BR please...

If I take the step and decide to become bankrupt, should I stop paying my DMP now or carry on until I have a court date?

Just trying to think of the best way of going about it.

Thanks.

  • Personally, I would stop paying it now so that you can save up the court fee's. Have you sought professional advice yet?

  • I have spoken to some people today about it and it looks like the only option left for us.

I was trying to think of a way to pay the fees for BR because we would both have to become BR and thats alot of money in one go!

    Any ideas gratefully received.

Definatly stop paying the DMP and save the money for the BR. How much are you paying towards the DMP? Oh! and be aware that you might have to field some phonecalls from creditors for a while but it will be worth it in the end,
