Gross misconduct

I was sacked for gross misconduct as I worked as a colleague in retail for 2 years (part-time). I am in final year of university looking to go into a graduate job in the science field. Will this show up on my DBS check and will potential employers find out if I omit it from my CV?
Thanks
Thanks

Certainly hope so.0 -
Unless there was a criminal charge, I can't see how it would end up on a DBS check.0

There's a world of difference between telling the manager to F off on the shop floor in front of horrified customers .... to .... systematically defrauding the company of £100k of goods/cash before decking the manager when he catches you.
What did you do? Roughly.0 -
It won't necessarily show on a dbs check. These show records of criminal records, police involvement and whether you are on one of the barred lists.
What were you sacked for, were the police involved, were you cautioned or prosecuted?0 -
Gross misconduct could be a whole lot of relatively "harmless" activities - falling asleep at your desk while doing a boring data entry job, being caught posting to facebook etc0

What exactly did you do?
Do not put in your CV and do not mention it. Let this be a lesson to you!0 -

Read the user name phonetically. It might just relate to over indulgence in alcohol!0
