Mortgage offer and new job

Hello...
We've currently exchanged contracts for a new build house and have a mortgage approved. We're just waiting for completion now so we can move in.
We've been told our house completion is August (could be July) but I could have a start date (at the new job) of 1st August. Our mortgage offer is with Halifax.
I've been offered the new job, for more money and it is closer to our new home. My question is, if I start at the new job just before completion, could it affect our current mortgage offer?
Many thanks.
