Primark has some good cheap bedding

Yes, agree with that, Just bought a king size fitted sheet for £5 (it was marked 6, but scanned 5). In Argos, where I was headed next in case Pirmark did not have it, it would have cost 6.99. At the moment it is not buy one get one free.
the duvet sets (king) were 16 - 20 without fitted sheet (2 pillow cases + duvet cover), but there were also some a bit simpler in terms of patterns for £15 with duvet cover, 2 pillow cases and fitted sheet.

Yes, TKMaxx for superking - I've just bought some Dorma Boutique fitted sheets for £12.99, but quite often you can pick them up even cheaper in the reduced section. Otherwise John Lewis and House of Fraser at sale time.

Pound Stretcher or Instore are really cheap...granted you don't get a great choice but for £6 for a kingsize duvet cover and two pillow cases you can't really moan.

    Re superking prices:
Latest superking duvet cover was £17.99 from Ponden, a Jeff Banks embroidered design.
Best ever Dunelm Mill price: superking fitted sheet £4.99 and superking duvet cover with pillow cases £17.50 - these were on the 'final reductions' shelves and are a weird 70s design.

I always buy 100% cotton, and have had some great buys from TK Maxx
  • Bought King size fitted base sheet for £3.00 yesterday in Sainsbury's and matching pillowcases for 87p each in their clearance. AND they are NOT "value" ones. Also had duvet covers but didn't look at them.:j
  • Try Tj Hughes if you have one near you.
