Southern Water/Moorcroft chasing me for £45
Comments
-
I've looked into Southern Water's complaints procedure and I can't see any way of contacting them by email, they appear to handle their complaints over the phone and there is a form you can fill in, but it looks like that's just a callback form, the irony is they've said they'd call me back three times now over the period I've been trying to deal with this and they never have!
Frankly I don't see the point of continuing to talk to them over the phone when their word clearly accounts for nothing, and yet it seems they are very reluctant to put anything in writing. What a bunch of con merchants.
Looks like the only method for sending a written complaint to them is by post. Is there any point in demanding a full breakdown of the £45 charge by post and are they likely to respond by post or just phone? I'm frankly reluctant to spend the cost of a stamp and an envelope on these scum. It's starting to look like getting anything in writing from these lot of crooks is going to be difficult.0 -
Water companies can no longer cut you off for non payment.
To be honest, for the sum of money involved, I'd just ignore it.
If they want to add it to your next water bill, it's up to you weather to pay it or not.
As I said before, Moorcrap were just acting for southern water, so you can ignore them as well.
