Network Railcard

Hi, Would anyone know of any 'special offer' promotions available for the purchase of a basic 'Network Railcard' please? From time to time as indeed at the present moment there are promotional offers for the 'Family & Friends' and 'Two-together type' (£20 instead of £30) but I've never seen any for the basic Network Railcard which is the only one you can apply for if your'e single, under 60 and not disabled. Unfortunately this card has so many restrictions in that a £13 minimum fare applies weekdays and you can only use it within the network southeast rail area to obtain your 1/3 off rail fares - it still costs £30 though! Any news of offers anyone knows about would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Which is only useful if you know someone with a Gold Card [the cheapest is currently £160 for a 12 month season ticket between Hatton & Lapworth, a wider area of coverage, no weekday min fare)0
