Hi,
I am looking at buying a new iPad. I am thinking of one of the newer ones but not necessarily the latest model.
I know apple is planning a launch next week, will the prices start going down this week or am I best waiting until next week to get the best deal?
Also, is there a place that usually provides the best deals on iPad's?

last week a lot of the online places price dropped the Ipad Air 1 16gb to £249.99
John Lewis & PC world to name but 2
cant see the prices dropping anymore if the AIR 3 is launched next week
only other option is to get a refurb from the apple store or trusted online retailers"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
Is there a massive difference between the Air 1 and the Air 2?
I would also be interested in a new-ish version of a iPad mini so thats an option.

I'm no expert on them just I fancy a newer one as I have a 1st gen and cant use certain apps anymore
check out Wikipedia or similar for differences"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
JL give a 2 year guarantee on them I think PC World is only 1 year.0

I can't say I'm uptodate on iPad prices. But, JL will pricematch using their 'never knowingly undersold guarantee', but it's for bricks and mortar stores, not any old internet deal.
Nothing to stop you doing a bit of price searching and dropping them an email to see if they will match it. JL customer service and an extended guarantee would sway me!0 -
only other way you may get it cheaper is either go through a cashback site , use Tesco clubcard vouchers when they have a booster offer , same with nectar points , argos when you get a voucher when you spend over £100 and so on"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0
