Do I renew Amazon Prime Subscription - or let it expire & resign up

My Amazon Prime Subscription is coming up to the one year mark & is due to expire. I want to keep subscribed to Prime.
But I'm wondering whether, if I let it expire & wait a week or so, does Amazon try to get us to re-sign-up by offering a discount?

hi lilibeth, i tried this earlier this year cause i didn't want to pay for another year and it was still £79 for a year on my account and i didnt get any emails with discounts on so i'd say its not worth cancelling unless you sign up with a different email and credit card for the 30day free trial again.0

Plus it won't expire they will automatically renew and charge the £79 unless you cancel.0

No discounts are offered. And as mentioned, it will auto renew unless you cancel.0

I stumbled on this on HUKD, and although it's not exactly a discount, it does give you £20 Amazon credit. You need to cancel Prime first, then click on the link on the following page to resubscribe...

I'm not sure what to do. The way that post is written, it was sent to that specific customer.
My Prime runs out on the 27th March & that offer expires on the 25th of March. I don't know whether to cancel three days early & try to sign up using that or just let it run out on the 27th
Any advice anyone?*Make every day Caturday*0
