A couple of questions about fees...

I have a couple of questions about fees.

1) We're getting the mortgage arrangement fee added to our loan so that we pay it off over the mortgage term. I wanted to check that this doesn't have any negative implications, especially as we are using HTB equity loan too?

2) The reservation fee we paid towards the house (new build). Does this count towards anything (e.g. off our deposit, off our mortgage) or is it just a sum that we paid to the developers for the privilege of reserving the house and nothing more?

Thanks

It will mean you'll need that much less overall, essentially it's your first payment.

Towards your house. For example, if the reservation fee was £1,000 that's £1,000 you've paid towards it which will mean either a smaller mortgage, or less for deposit , or whatever.
