Hi
First time post so please be gentle.
We are lucky enought to have no mortgage on our property.worth about 180k .
We are looking to raise 50k for an extention.
any ideas on the best deals available and what type of mortgage it would be..cant seem to find any deals for not having a mortgage i.e owning the property..

Remortgage of an unencumbered property.

It would just be classed as a remortgage.
Best deal will depend on your circumstances. You need to look at rates and criteria, not just the rates.
