CSA arrears

I have had a claim open with the CSA since February 2000. I am being switched to the new system next month. What I forgot to ask when I set up my new claim was what happens to the arrears that are owed to me from the old CSA claim?

They will be carried across to the new system, however it takes a long time. My new CMS case opened in August last year, and only now are they sorting out the arrears. It took CSA 4 months to contact me to see if I wanted them carrying over, then another 3 for them to actually contact CMS about it!!
