How long until searches appear on credit file(s)?

Hey!
Currently waiting on mortgage decision from Santander.
Just wondered how long it takes for credit searches to appear on Experian and Equifax reports? Every time I log in does it pull fresh information or once a day? I know Santander started processing it Thursday last week but still no search has appeared, neither hard or soft? Bit confused as my house builder has told me that my MA informed them that the mortgage is out subject to valuation? But surely this can't happen without a credit search?
Any ideas

I submitted my FTB application last Thursday and the credit search by the lender appeared on my Experian file the following day, so I presume it's immediate.0
