Missives submitted - So confused?

Hello
First off it is worth mentioning we are currently going through the process of buying a house in Scotland as I understand it is very different that it is in other parts of the country. Our solicitor has submitted the missives which have now been concluded which is great and I understand we are now legally bound to buy the property.
What I am wondering does this mean they solicitor has confirmed / setup they transfer of the remaining mortgage money from the mortgage provider?
On the back of this is there any reason a mortgage provider would pull they offer of a mortgage after the missives have been submitted? bearing in mind no change to credit report which on a side not does the mortgage provider do another check on the credit file? and no other changes as well.
I know I am more than likely overthinking all of this which I do have a tendency to do but I find the more informed I am the better I can elevate any of my fears.
I haft to admit our solicitor has been excelle tand so has the mortgage provider so I have no complaints there I would rather not bother them with my irrational fears. This has certainly been a lesson in how to deal with stress.
Thanks for any help.

Not necessarily, that's normally done shortly before the date of entry (you haven't told us when that is). But I presume they have the mortgage offer? On the back of this is there any reason a mortgage provider would pull they offer of a mortgage after the missives have been submitted?I haft to admit our solicitor has been excelle tand so has the mortgage provider so I have no complaints there I would rather not bother them with my irrational fears.
It's what you're paying them for. Whereas you aren't paying us anything!0
