  • Hello

Just to update I received a letter from Pra group attaching a copy of my agreement with MBNA, well the small section where it says please sign this form and there is my signature dated 12.4.04.
Further in the letter it they state they are awaiting further documentation to complete my request.

So in the following two weeks I received another letter accompanied by old statements from Virgin (im guessing MBNA) upto Aug 2012.

They then say to ring them within 10 days of receipt of there letter to come to an agreement with them for paying the debt off.

So would you recommend writing to them to come to some agreement, I don't know whether to make an offer of a settlement from the £1100 debt outstanding.

Any advice at this stage would be greatly appreciated

    thank you

Is it an agreement or an application form ?

If the latter, that does not comply with your request.

Are the prescribed terms clearly visible ?

Prescribed terms for a credit card being

    credit limit
    rate of interest
repayments: A term stating how the debtor is to discharge his obligations under the agreement to make the repayments

Sounds as though it's an application form to me, not an agreement.

Attempt to fob the OP off, hoping she won't know the difference ?

  • Hi All

thank you for your replies, how do I send you a copy of what they have sent me please?, I went to copy and paste but it didnt work, the insert image is wanting an url address. In the small print it does state credit agreement, it gives me my credit limit, and in very small print it says before you sign, read condition 11 (I think thats what it reads) in terms and conditions something about I agree they can process, use, record cant read the print, personal information as described in condition 11. it goes on..
The other bit they sent is a cut bit from an agreement it looks like, with
Important - you should read this carefully - your rights
beginning with your consumer rights etc..
And a few statements they sent.

There is no information regarding interest rate, or repayments.
