Has anyone been doing a DMP longer than two years without a charging order being put on your home.We have been doing our DMP for the last five months and was wondering is it more likely to happen sooner or later? we owe just over 100k ,so are expecting it to happen .

It's possible but before it gets to that stage creditors would have to get a judgement against you which you would default on and only then can they apply for a charging order. Not sure thats of great comfort to you.

Please see my thread relating to Hybrid Charging Orders - you do not now have to default on your CCJ. Lenders are requesting a forthwith Notice to pay the full amount, if the full amount is not paid then a Charging Order is requisitioned and it seems the majority are being granted. I cannot however see how they can be doing this under the current law, there is a Bill going through which will allow them to do this without a CCJ being defaulted but that Bill has not yet been passed.0
