Cannot figure out how I can make 'connections' in bulk ?

I am essentially trying to connect ti recruitment consultants in the UK within a particular industry and don't really want to click on 'connect' a few thousand times after running the appropriate search.

Is there a way to get this done in bulk ?

I am not trying to spam them but rather make them aware of my profile as I am looking for a new job. Thank you in advance

I get a lot of Contact requests from recruitment consultants in LinkedIn.

The key is to make your profile look attractive for the sector in which you wish pursue a career, and make sure you have enough relevant contacts with other people in that same sector (not just recruitment people).

It's the Field of Dreams scenario ... build it (make it attractive) and they will come (seek you out).

There are many things which are annoying about LinkedIn but it is still one of the best (if not the best) site for professional job hunting. I got my current job after being found by a recruiter on LinkedIn.

You just have to try to ignore the constant requests for endorsements from people you hardly know and the steady Facebookisation of the site.

To the OP, I'm not sure what the value is of connecting with a "few thousand" recruitment consultants. If your profile is good enough they will find you. Being connected to so many will just mean that you drown in spam.

I use it as a way of keeping in touch with people in the same field of work as me - that might be a better way of getting noticed in your desired field of work. I've only got about 50 connections and I've had to turn the e-mail notifications off - you will end up being over whelmed if you have 1000's.
