Scam bank charge phone calls

Just picked this up on my works intranet (sorry if it's already been posted):

Blackpool Trading Standards Office has received the following warning from the Office of Fair Trading concerning scam telephone calls.
The OFT has been made aware of a scam involving consumers being telephoned by people, alleging to be from the OFT, asking for personal and financial infomation including their bank account details in order for the OFT to reclaim bank charges on their behalf.
These callers have no connection with the OFT, and their intention is to use the information for identity theft. The OFT never contacts consumers asking for bank details.
The OFT warns not to pass on personal details, and if you have already done so to contact your bank.
