You explain elsewhere that you are recently separated and that your ex is likely to go BK.
You need to sort a few things out urgently.
1. If you have any joint accounts with him, you will be liable if he goes BK - I guess those utility bills are in this category?
2. If you are financially linked, with both names on accounts then his BK may affect your credit rating, so you need to get his name off the account. You probably need his signature to do this.
3. If you have any joint accounts on which he can still spend on, you need either to get his name off the account or to get the account holder to change the account so that you both have to sign for any spends, if he will not agree, or if the company refuse becasue the account is in arrears.
Sorting those accounts has to be a priority, and that may mean only paying £5 to cap one for a while.
I note you are also trying to claim charges? If you were alsp to go BK, then these may be taken by the Official Receiver. There are folk here who can help you check this out.
You might also want to sign up for www.freecycle.org. Click the link for Britain and then the one for your local area. This is a bit like e-bay but the people on there are giving stuff away, just for collection. It is a great place for bundles of kids clothes, household goods and electrical stuff, which could savwe you a fortune at a time when you really cant afford new clothes even from Primark. You have to start with an offer but there is nothing to say the offer has to be accepted or something of high value. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
