Best cordless vacuum cleaner

Options
I'm torn between the Dyson, though really too expensive, and the
G Ram which I've heard is better but with that you have to buy the hand held vac separately which is extra expense and I do want the attachments. I was also wondering about a cheaper one like Hoover or Morphy Richard but don't know how good they are. Any recommendations?

  • Theyre all rubbish with severe limitations. Is there a reason why you cant plug one in?

I have a plug in vac but it's a bind, especially when using the attachments. I have two cats who shed hair so it would be easier just to whip out a cordless vac more often. On a corded vac the wires get tangled, you often have to change sockets. I thought cordless was the way forward. What limitations do they have?
  • Battery.
I would also never touch a Dyson of ANY type
  • Battery life, capacity and power. How often would you need to empty it out with 2 cats?. How long before you need to buy a new battery?

Get a Henry, we plug ours in at the bottom of the stairs and it does the whole house and we only have to change the bag about once every couple of months.
People have talked about theirs lasting 20 years.

I also have a corded Dyson and a Gtech. Am very happy with both.

I find the Dyson cordless useless. I have just gone back to a corded vacuum.

I have had a few Dyson's over the years, but will never buy another.
