  • Unfortunately these railcards are of no use until after 10am. My son bought it for university but as he has to be there before 10am it's not worth the paper it's written on, I wouldn't mind but the leaflets are handed out to students advising them to buy to save them money how wrong is that!

    Looks like it is not suitable for your son.

    Don't you think others might find the 33% saving quite useful?

    Only of "no use" if the undiscounted fare is under £12 before 10am.

    I'm almost certain sure they also feature in the 16-25 Railcard leaflet found at stations.

    yes my daughter had exactly the same problem bought the card then couldn't use it till after 10 so no use for uni whatsoever!!
