  • Well, I think I am going to have to restrict my total a little, as spending weekends at my boyfriend's and a week on holiday doesn't really
help, so I really only have 21 days to fill with this challenge. So 4 days in, I have done 2 mystery shops at £10 each, booked another mystery shop for £30 (which admittedly some of the money will be spent at the shop, but I'm counting it anyway!) and made £11.76 on Quidco.

Don't see that I can keep up the number of mystery shops, so I might have to be a bit more enthusiastic with the Quidco! Very annoying that so many of the sites are blocked by my computer and I don't know how to un-block them!

Still I'm in a positive mood today with all this.

I got £20 today - in Quidco by booking an appointment for someone to come round and try and sell me blinds! I hope I don't have to endure a long sales pitch..... the £20 is tracking already.

Ooh! that sounds good! I could actually do with some blinds, so they can quote and I will go elsewhere and beat the price! :money:

I made £20 today on Quidco by requesting an appointment with a rep from Hillarys Blinds.

You can get decent bonuses from signing up to gambling sites, but they scare me to be honest. If there are other easy big sums to be made that don't involve gambling I'd like to know too.

Ok, im in, im late so I start tomorrow :D

(If I go from the 1st September, im £18 in deficit, but I have just over £50 tracking in Quidco - so ill just call that practice and start properly tomorrow)

Ive already started by doing some calculations to find out how much overtime per working day I have to do post tax to make the £10 per day, and its pretty much spot on an hour. Lucky me, we have been doing on average 30-60 mins overtime a day for the last week and this should continue into the near future.

I get paid overtime at a rate of 17.5p per minute, so any less than one hour means I need to make up the difference - so id better get some things to sell on ebay, do some clicking on quidco and get some more mystery shopping jobs! If I dont hit the hour a day, I have to make it up elsewhere! However, its the weekends im going to find tricky so Id best get hunting for income!

In other news, I may well have a payrise shortly (probably October - Yay!) so this will help a lot!
