Sorry if this has already been answered further along the thread but I'm just answering as I go along!

    Here goes

Batgirl - If you are doing this for a well-known high street bank beginning with the 2nd letter of the alphabet then I did this one too. It was great. Just to clarify - you will get £50 for the first visit plus £10 for each of the additional visits and then and extra £20 on the final visit to close the account (if you wish to!) It was so easy.

I decided to keep the account in case I stumbled across the few millions lying under the mattress that I was unable stash in my offshore bank Account (yeah right!) :rotfl: . With hindsight, I wish I hadn't coz I then got offered it again last week at a branch closer to home and I couldn't accept the assignment as I was still a "2nd letter of the alphabet" customer.

If I had closed the Account I would have been able to accept the assignment again, although I don't know how this might have affected the "credit" search - even tho there was no credit/overdraft involved - it would still be on my credit history records

Thanks for all that inof I wasn't quite sure what happened yet, was pleased enough with the £50 but the thought of doing it again is Fab, so thanks.

I went to coolege today and my husband wored from home because our youngest is sick :( . i left my phone on so if he needed me I could hear it. Half way through the morning he texts saying "I think you have won a prize"!!!! So in my next break I rang him, the item had been sent special delivery, and had been opened at the post off ice and re-sealed ( I live in a very small village and know everyone in my post office and all their families.) Anyway he seemed really unny on the phone when I aske dhim what it was and he was a bit giggly so I assumed it must be a really great prize like the Nintendo DS I am desperate to win for my eldest.

He eventually told me what my prize was. It was..................................... a 20cm/8inch gurth Rampant Rabbit Wave Vibrator      , I LMAO, my OH said I only had to say if I wasn't happy!!!! ( Jokingly I hasten to add) It made me very happy that I have such a close relationship with my husband that we both thought it was hilarious. Its worth £52.50 in Ann Summers so I want to sell it on ebay but they have nothing else like that on there so don't really know what to do with it!!!! ( I assure you all I DONT want it for myself though!!!!!!!)

How hilarious - I bet they're still talking about it at the post office!

What did you have to do to win that?

I had a win today but not as exciting as yours...... an ethical organic cotton shopping bag!

And I also made £100!!!!! Doing some proof-reading - easy money!

Didn't have to do anything other than enter details, going to try and return to Ann Summers as still sealed, if not flog it.

  • OK, I not posted on this for a bit, not sure of my overall total, but just wanted to say hi and I am still here and trying. I did sell a book on amazon for £11 after fees and postage, not bad for amazon. I have also had some ebay sales, just a few ££ each, but adds up, also, I got £30 of vouchers as I threatened to leave Barclays insurance and they sent me £30 vouchers as well as reducing my monthly cost by £4 for the rest of the policy.
Hope everyone else is doing OK.
  • 5th Sep - 18th Sep £70.04 (some subject to tax)

    19th Sep 18p
    20th Sep £3.31 (Mystery shop)

I managed to get a £7.50 shop for next week.

I know I'm way behind, but I'm doing well with the mystery shops compared to usual. If I keep this motivation going I should be able to earn £50 - 100 a month on mystery shops.

    :T Well done!

I have to ask how you got hold of that though? Sounds like the sort of thing I'd enjoy doing!
  • Hi
I havnt joined in the challenge, even though i thinks its brilliant, as i havnt got time to get on here much.
Just writing to let you know that £60 is up for grabs on Quidco quite quickly atm. Last night i changed my dual fuel supplier from click to click 3 on the british gas link from quidco. This saves quite a bit in cost ofcourse but you also get £60 cash, which had already validated when i checked the account this morning. I have made £129 on quidco this month so i may be joining you afterall at this rate!

    Good luck all
....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life

    Can I join in Late?

    Please!!

Just quidco so far, but a fair amount.

    1st - £20 National Trust (Validated)
    4th - £20 Green Flag (Validated)
9th - £60 New mobile contract with dialaphone (tracked)
10th - £60 OH new mobile contract with dialaphone (tracked)
10th - £70 OH Car insurance with The AA (Tracked)
    21st - £60 British Gas (Validated)
    21st - £120 Natwest Home Ins (Validated)
    21st - £39.50 OH Life insurance (tracked)

With the mobile contracts we also got a Wii each so these are on ebay at the moment and both the contracts have cash back (hopefully £150 each). I know it seems excessive spending on quidco but they were all up for renewal.

Oh and we sold one of the contract phones on ebay for £105 (after charges). With these sales/cashback/quidco the contracts (both 12 months) cost about £65 each for the year inc 600 Xmins and 500 txts.

Anyway the total so far is:
    £105 cash received
£449.50 quidco for payment in Oct/Nov
(and hopefully around £300 for the Wii's) but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch.

I have to say that the cash from the phone and if the Wiis sell will have to be used for a new alternator, Cam belt and rear wiper motor for the car.

Try quidco for barclays insurance as I'm sure the cashback is still quite good.
