Ideal Home Show Comping Advice

Options
Myself and two comping friends are visiting the Ideal Home Show this year (none of us have been before). We are intending on comping while we are there (Naturally lol). Any advice from other compers that have been before? What sort of competitions could we expect to see and what sort of entry methods? Any advice/tips would be great - Wanna make the most of the day!

Cheers x
Debbie

Take a pen :) Should be lots of "leave your details" type things. If you have any business cards take them too. And take a camera for some photos for future comps xxx

Me and my daughter went last year many stalls give goodie bags out with a comp to enter inside, look out on each stall for prize draw cards to fill in also.

I went last year and found that there were less competitions than i expected. There were lots more at travel shows I've been too. I focus on holidays though so maybe I just wasn't too fussed about the prizes at the Ideal Home Show. There is a lot of tat there. Grand Designs is a much better show.
Top wins in 2018: Trip to Iceland, helicopter ride over london, couples massage, £300 flight from Pringles, trip to Paris, cocktail making class and afternoon tea up the shard. .

Top wins in 2017:holiday to the Bahamas, trip to Paris, meal with champagne, a week in a manor house in France with £500 spending money.

Thanks Helga! I've never considered Grand Designs or the Travel Shows before - Maybe I need to broaden my horizons! :) Tickets for all these shows are quite easy to win too. I'm desperately trying to win a holiday this year so the Travel Show seems like a good one! Thanks x
