Why do people keep making POINTLESS remarks on these threads?

There is a whole section just for stupid remarks called the moneysaversarms and redfox shouldn't you be setting an example being a board guide

Why do people with a sense of humour bypass take it upon themselves to try & police the rest of us?

The humour was not pointless - at least a couple of us were amused - much needed on a Monday morning.

Lots of threads have funny or flippant remarks in them and if I changed or deleted every post that was not exactly relevant to the opening post in a thread, then there'd hardly be any content in Grabbit at all! People are just trying to bring a smile to other peoples' faces and a little bit of lighthearted fun doesn't harm anyone or detract from the bargain to be had

If you click on a persons user name, you can go to their profile and have a look at some of the posts they have been thanked for (as you can see, redfox has a fair few!). This will give you an idea of the contribution they make to the site.

I did and still agree with my original comment.This is a grab it board where people put what they think bargains for others to either go and buy or decide not too,not make pointless comments about that persons find.Making silly comments on certain posts does not make up for the fact you may have done something useful in other posts.Nothing to do with having humour or not,it's the stupid comments that will put people off adding post for fear of ridicule.
