At the end of my tether with my DD at bedtime :( anyone have any miracle solutions for getting a 6 year old to go to bed and stay there without having a full on screaming hissy fit every night?! :o
We do the whole wind down routine no tv or devices on, shower or bath followed by some fruit and warm milk, tucked up in bed and then read a chapter or 2 of a book. And then all hell breaks loose *sigh*

I often get asked to help parents with this (I am a reception teacher). I put a sticker chart in place and if the child sleeps without fuss they get a sticker. I keep the chart on the wall in my classroom. The parent then informs me each day. According to the parents, this has never failed. Involve your daughters school and ask for their support. HTH x

The offer on this group looks to have ended etc.

Fruit Bowl Yogurt Fruit Flakes Raspberry£2.11

Should compare to M. at 2 for £2, so after apg should cost 58p for 2.:D

There are probably other good comparisons in the group, but this is the first I found.

Untested and before any one comments, apologies that I can't dash off and test myself, but I have to take hubby to hospital :(this morning.

Trying to get my head round the new glitches, so if the offer finishes today, it may still scan in offer instore but compare full price. Anyway I can help find these?

Good morning all, cloudy one here and trying to rain.

Do you close her door, is it too dark for her? Have you tried a night light?

I recall when DD was about 3 she got into the habit of coming downstairs at about 9, and we kept putting her to bed. One night we were trying to do something when she arrived in the doorway as normal, OH just snapped and shouted at her telling her we didn't want her:eek: You should have seen her face crumple, made OH go up and explain to her that much as we loved her she should stay in bed once she is put there, if I recall correctly I don't think she came down after that!

Six is old enough to negotiate with, why not ask her what would make her stay in bed and go to sleep. And as others have said is her bedtime to early/late? Or has she just got into the habit?

Essentially the only thing that is going to sort this out though is time.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Offers have renewed on TCB including Amstel :).

New offer period until 12/4 - and to comply receipt has to be between 6/4 and 12/4.

But if you have bought the beer for COS or Q clicksnap then you can't buy for TCB even though the dates are new?

Toilet roll - that reminds me. OH said we are getting dangerously low and says we have only 2 weeks worth left

I am sure there are more supplies somewhere in the house so that's job number one.

When the cashback offer was on last year - was it Quidco? Spend £12 get £10 back - was that it? So I did a bulk order of wilko loo paper which has lasted us until now.

I've never found any if the RTC packs anyone finds.

In theory if I go to mr Tosssr for cashback items and to take food bank stuff I can also do farm foods en route and get Nicky loo paper and whatever else goodies - need to find the FarmFoods MOC link ...

Our road is closed for 2 weeks so shopping trips have to be militarily planned :)
