My OH is the bread winner because it was the only way we could work it. He has always done odd shifts and hours, on call every 4 weeks, often worked away from home for weeks when the kids were little.
There was no family friendly hours then, no goverment paid for child care and we had no parental help so if I worked everything I earned would have gone on childcare.
So we lived on money just above the level where we could claim any benefits and struggled along for decades like that, mostly in dept.
When the kids got to the teenage stage I fully intended getting back to work even though we had issues with the eldest and the youngest had educational problems.
But my m-I-l was on her own and them we lost mum so my dad was on his own so there was only so many days in the week and only so far that I could spread myself.

OH is very much loved even though he drives us bats
    Yes he does make tea
And yes he is the bread winner but I've contributed myself in other ways

It sounds lovely to have a shared history. I think that's what I miss most, the definite sense of past, present and future, and joint experiences underpinning it all.

30 years on my own since the divorce (albeit being punctuated by two traumatic years with a partner-from-hell) has been 30 years too long really. Mostly I can convince myself that I zip along just fine, and I can do as I like and I have lots of fun - but sometimes I have a real wrenching urge for the stability of a long term union.

Everything in my home stays exactly how and where I left it, but that only brings a hollow sort of satisfaction. xx

My loony sister spoke to the dr about the insurance and he told her she must mention the tablet mum takes for pre parkinsons. It also transpires since my sister managed to cut her leg open on Sunday Mum now has an infection and dr just dispensed 2 strong antibiotics . I despair but I trying to keep my distance so will remain quiet

Very similar story here mhoc, although I guess I was lucky that when Mr TS changed jobs due to his back problem and started working for a charity meant we were just below the line for tax credits which helped greatly. Meant I could fit in running around after the kids and looking after my dad then mum in without worrying but only just.

It's only these last couple of years I no longer have to spread myself. I intended to go back to work once all the girls were at secondary school too. Even now they are all grown up I have not given myself the extra push. :o But it will have to happen soon I have no excuse.....

It's the best thing I did for myself tiny, I absolutely love it.

Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well xx

Thank you - there were only these three packs in my store at £2.50 - heading to a larger store having put everything back :A.

6 cans should be below £10 apg depending on fillers?

Please can someone confirm - In brine or spring water packs only or sunflower oil too (sunflower not reduced on MSM but £1.50 on T so could be safe?).

    Sage
    Dill flathead parsley
    Thyme
    Basil
    Whole nutmeg
    Coriander, ground
    Nutmeg, ground
    Mixed spice
    Paprika

All in the jars as they were a better comparison price.

No need for fillers as 10 differnt products.

Sorry I can't post the actual receipt - haven't got themes computer sorted yet and I'm struggling a bit.

Sorry to be slow - but am I missing something ?

What did you pay at the tills - are they on the 2for£2 in store ?

A is showing the 2for£2 on the site, so what is the deal ?
