Have to share this last night I threatened DD3 that electrician may have to go in her room today. Last week he needed to test sockets and she was still in her pit and it was a tip. No surface could be seen including the floor.
I could hear loads of banging around until pretty late and well I never this morning it is immaculate.. Was it mean of me as I am pretty certain he has no need to go in her room this week.
Needs must :rotfl:0 -
Thanks AJ yes scabbing has all gone. Just seen the pic amazing. :T
DD3s old scar was red/purple and raised after a year even thicker than it started out.
I would give BO a try then. I git mine off Amazon from a seller there for just under £10 free post it didn't take long to get here. Of course Loyds Chemist nay have it cheaper, but cost really doesn't matter if she needs it now.Have to share this last night I threatened DD3 that electrician may have to go in her room today. Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hope that worked, god look how fat my knee looks  it's because it's nearest to the camera.
The scar is 11 months old
AJ that looks so good it just goes to show that a little bit of effort each day can make such a difference ...I used the oil on my scar after my op on my back in November and although it is not visible It feels very smooth now :T0 -
Grabbing a last coffee before we go, 2 false starts already :eek:There's no place like home

Freezer engineer has been. He thinks he has sorted out the seal but he was not told about the hinge. I thought it was just the hinge cover but the hinge is out of shape too. He has no idea when that will be sorted out. Why, oh why, do we have to have freezers.Does anyone else's OH drive them to distraction
We were stood chatting in the kitchen, I am washing up, then I put a clean saucer out in readiness to put cat food in (cat promptly leaves) and I give the work surfaces a scrub down.
OH makes a brew. He puts the tea bag in the clean cat saucer, leaves tea puddle by the kettle and wet tea spoon on the other work surface. Also to compound matters he leaves the kitchen tap dripping.
I then have to follow him back into the kitchen, move the tea bag into the green waste bucket, literally just outside the door, rinse out the cat dish again and the spoon, scrub the surfaces again, make sure the tap is properly shut off.
I say to him I will never make progress with the To Do list if I have to follow him around the house constantly re cleaning where I've just been, doing everything twice.
The mess he leaves in his wake is invisible to him
Often, especially if he has really annoyed me he will try to make up by offering me a peace offering if a cup of tea. I have to decline, it's not worth the effort as I know it will irate me beyond reason - I end up back in the kitchen, putting the tea bag into the green waste bucket, wet spoon in the sink, turning the dripping tap off and re scrubbing work surfaces. That is not a peace offering, it is just making more work.
And then there is the trial of biscuit crumbs he leaves in his wake ...
We have one of those tea bag stands on the work top, mainly because I was fed up with them just being put on the worktop. If I do not empty it he lets it pile up, and up, and up. Give him credit, he does put things in the washing up bowl, but I don't think he even knows how to clean the worktop, and he is one of those people that can search high and low for something, ask me where it is, and it is where he has been looking:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Have to share this last night I threatened DD3 that electrician may have to go in her room today. You will have to arrange regular visits from this electrician :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
If I had a husband, I'd probably just love him.
If he made me cups of tea, I'd probably love him more.:)
If he brought any money in, I'd definitely love him to bits.:):):)
Worth a few biscuit crumbs, I reckon. xxx“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Easier said than done for some of us.
I for one don't partake in hardly any of the glitches found.
I don't live that near to A's for starters, work nights, have a young child and family to look after ect, ectN1LDA0 -
Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Wednesday.

Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
Come on ladies, we all know you love a good moan, so really your hubbie is only leaving crumbs/teabags/drips to give you something to moan about, because he knows it makes you happy. See, how caring can you be“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
