Treacle home again after his day at the vets, several teeth missing but otherwise in good health. Last night while he still had anaesthetic in his system he could not settle so he was bouncing all over the house
So last night he was shut in downstairs, water, food and litter tray and we took the other two to bed so Treacle could have the run of downstairs himself.
This morning he is much calmer, came to me in bed purring and cuddled up asleep.

At some point this morning I've got to make sure he eats and then get 2 lots of meds into his mouth - liquids in tiny tubes so this is going to be fun.

(Also as you can see I gave got photobucket working again so if any spats break out expect numerous cute pics of cats or flowers or cruise ships :) )

Good morning all, the sun is shining at the moment.

I am waiting in for a freezer engineer today, although I have not had any hint of when he or she will turn up, last time I was in this position they had cancelled it without telling me. I am beginning to wish I had never bought that freezer a couple of years ago, might have got a "new" one out of them in exchange but it has at least 3 faults and I have been waiting since 4th Feb to get it sorted  I have emailed and written to try to get answers out of them but have been utterly ignored
Wish I could say mine looked like cjj's but unfortunately not :rotfl:

I'm currently looking for a miracle cure for sinus pain. Normally I'd take decongestant tablets, but I don't actually have a blocked nose. I've had this sore face and head for days now and nothing is shifting it, I can't move my head too fast otherwise it hurts!

I used to get dreadful sinus problems but now I rarely get them. I think I found a cure, at least for me. For a while I breathed in steam for as long as I could at least once a day, then cut it down to once every other day, then once a week. I went on for months but I seriously barely get problems anymore, and I had it at least as bad as you describe. Now if I get the symptoms that mean it might be coming on I immediately take a couple of the sinus decongestant tablets from Sainsbury and that is it, to be honest that is a rarity too now.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Unfortunately soup didn't work.

Big thanks to my friend for sharing result.

    1x Heinz Classic Oxtail Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Heinz Classic Mulligatawny Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
1x Heinz Classic Cream of Chicken Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
1x Heinz Classic Cream of Mushroom Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Heinz Classic Beef Broth (400G) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Wash & Go Universal 2in1 Shampoo & Conditioner (200ML) £1.00 £1.00
1x Heinz Classic Cream of Tomato Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
0.15x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (PER KG) £0.10 N/A
    1x Heinz Classic Minestrone Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Heinz Classic Vegetable Soup (400G) £0.50 £0.50

Comparison total (compared products only) £5.00 £5.00 For your information: Asda Price Guarantee comparisons are based on prices correct as of date of delivery (online shoppers) or date of purchase (in store customers).

I think they shopped too early:(. Mbuys were showing on a.com and hadn't quite disappeared off the product pages yet (and the system hadn't had a chance to update). Mbuys showing now on a.com product pages:(. Which is good because I don't really use the other products posted as likely glitches (thanks for looking:)), would only have gone for these soups, so I don't have to go to A now and now have more time available in what would otherwise have been a very busy day:cool:.

EDIT: Except, indeed, the old favourite the Quorn (which has just been posted whilst I was writing this:doh:). Shall I go for that now? I think not: I haven't done those particular Quorns before, didn't need to do this glitch then so don't need to do it now. But they are a very good price, so good luck to anyone who does go for them! Again:rotfl::D.

I ought to say good morning and then disappear like I always do:rotfl:. I got awoken by a member of the family who was going out without leaving me any spare cash:eek:. Strange how a click of the door awoke me from my slumbers - I could have slept through it all! There I was, nicely napping. Anyway... I have not been up all night!:rotfl: I managed to put some clothes on and run after them though:cool:. So, all is well:).

    Good morning!:)
