Yes we had babies since the 70s - it became old hat after a while. Opening the airing cupboard to see more had hatched. What we didn't realise in the beginning, is that, the heat temperature determines their sex - too hot & they are all males. ...
The main group are now split up, females in one garden & males in another as it's too much for Mum now - she has also rehomed many to members of a tortoise group she belongs to to stop interbreeding
They were a full time job in the summer

How fascinating the tortoises are, I had one as a child, I called him Charlie. We had him for years until he was taken from the garden and we never did find out where he went or who took him

Good morning Elite :hello:

Lovely and sunny here this morning :j rather windy but it is dry out there :T

I missed a 9am appointment at health centre as I forgot about it will have to make another .

Fiddled on with trailcam and it seems I have 3 hedgehogs coming to be fed. Feeder box cleaned out and ready for tonight's food to go in about 7pm . Looked at the photos from last night and see 2 cats sniffing around but they can't get to the food :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

NSD for me as left leg still playing up, swollen ankle and knee and very painful joints.
