Non-Scratch Sponge Scourers? They are not the stainless steel ones though are they?:think: The 6 pack A ones of those were glitching against a less effective, IMO, Sains item at £1 (and occasionally at 3 for £2 when S was that price:D) - however I understand that that comp. ended when the system changed to the 'new' APG:( - now, so long afterwards, I've had to switch to the Spontex Tough Scourers 4 pack:( at £1 in M (or maybe Tvs M - no benefit at all there unless you only have a T within reasonable distance and have to shop there - otherwise, just buy the one item in M and don't buy 10 different items!). I haven't quite ran out of A 6 pack yet:rotfl: but will eventually have to move to the 4 pack Spontex, when on £1 offer, myself - obviously not as good as 6 at 90p (or below). Unless these scourers are stainless steel ones?

Why do they never buy 1Kg packs at 70p (and which are also 28p in M:D)?

It seems bizarre almost-stupidity to me (I would call it "stupidity" but maybe they are simply not seeing the undeniably better 1Kg bags). Even if you didn't actually need more than four and therefore threw all except four of them away and paid full 70p you would still spend less money than buying four at 85p! (Much as I would not encourage wastage - but here it is down to the ridiculous price set-up under which they charge much more for far fewer and the solution and responsibility lies on the supermarkets to price things so that customers do not waste stuff.) The only case for buying 4 onions would seem to me to be if the 4 onions are literally absolutely huge. And I do not see anything that says to me that they are. They would still have to be over twice the size of 'normal' ones as single onions, as we know, are around 8-10p. 40p for four single onions? 28p for a 1Kg bag in M (or less Avs M)? No, of course not - 85p for the four pack:eek::wall: :rotfl::rotfl:(they always go the worst option!). I suspect these are simply in the supposed 'offers' at the aisle end, right in front of people as they walk straight into the store, and they are just simply picking them up and paying, IMO, well over the odds by failing to notice the 1Kg bags:(. Mr A must be laughing at how many people are paying it so much for the fewer onions (compared to what you would get in a 1Kg bag)!

I have no idea why no-one at all on wombles every buys 1Kg and every one of them, that I have seen, that buys onions buys the seemingly costly 85p four.

(The 1Kg onions price may have expired in M, I don't know, but it will still be available, right at this moment, on the APG for comparison.)

People might sometimes (or even a lot!) think that some of the things I do are a bit "strange", even though they are not unacceptable, but, when you look at people generally and how they behave... such as buying onions...

It seems bizarre to me that anyone in any right mind would ever buy four at 85p when cheaper prices on others are readily available in the very same stores. Bizarre, strange behaviour to buy 4! Anyway, I'm moving on...!
