Thank you for the birthday wishes sal, made my day :)

Thank you also to Annabell, Ladyshopper, Nannylala and cjj.

marrbett I've made hot cross bun bread and butter pudding several times, with and without marmalade, it tastes lovely. Don't ask me how much to use because it differs each time Ido it  I guess it's down to personal tastes too.

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Ooh I could just eat one of those (yum)

Nans neighbour just rang and said she would like to visit so am going to get her in a bit...where she is now they have very strict visiting times where the other on let me sit there all day
On a happy note my ds2 has arrived safely in Sumatra and was spending his second night out in the jungle last night :)

I don't understand why all these places with elderly people don't let visitors or one particular visitor sit with them during the day. It's comforting for them and you can help them eat or drink if they need it. :(

Lovely of you to take her neighbour in for a visit, that should help bring some cheer to nan :)

:j ds2 in Sumatra, what a fantastic opportunity for him. I've been watching Ed Stafford in the jungle and in the dessert. Quite scary but brilliant how he manages to survive.

I hope ds2 has more than a grass skirt on though :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks, had totally missed reading about it. I'm ok, how are you? I hope you have a nice afternoon at your sisters. :A

Just back from tesco, got my 6 bottles of lindemans chardonnay, just under £20 for 6 bottles with the 25% off plus the coupons. Coupons didn't scan for some reason, but luckily she put them through as none scan as clearly I'd bought the right product. Thanks again for whoever highlighted that little bargain, and the posters that linked me to the coupons. :)
