I've not been on for a few days, and haven't read back, so can't say if this is old news or not:

Glitch on 3 for £10 large Easter eggs:

Compare to M - The 3 for £10 came of twice, but has only shown up on APG the once.

1x Cadbury Creme Egg Large Easter Egg (278G) £5.00 £3.33
    1x Cadbury Wispa Large Easter Egg (275G) £5.00 £5.00
    1x Cadbury Twirl Large Easter Egg (282G) £5.00 £5.01
1x Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations Large Easter Egg (291G) £5.00 £3.33
    1x Galaxy Minstrels Easter Egg (262G) £5.00 £3.33

multi shows twice but only shows on apg once. i take it from this, the referance was to a's side of the of the apg
as morrisons multi surely does not show at all on the asda receipt

    Good afternoon all...

Just popping my head round the door to offer mhoc some words on wedding dresses...

Stay away from anything from china on ebay...some are good most are not so unless you have had a recommendation its not always worth the risk
pre loved is not bad to have a nosey though ....and some bargains can certainly be had via ebay if you pick carefully through...ideally you need a bride that bought her dress then saw another she liked more...yep that happens or simply one that bought a dress hoping that a few extra pounds of weight would get shifted before the day but didnt....!!!!

Another thing to have a look at is googling sample sales in whatever area the country you and DD want to have a look at....and can offer really good savings on new and off the peg....also have a look at wedding dress outlets, there are several all run by the same company all over the country...its a bit of a lottery as to what stock they have at a particular time but certainly worth having a look if one is nearby

Also don't be frightened to go and try on all the lovely dresses in the local bridal places...they too often have a sale rail and once you get chatting to the people in the shop they can sometimes look out for something in particular that you might want in terms of style or price...

and finally dont rule out a made to measure...from a local dressmaker, there used to be a very lovely lady who was near to the chester area called linda at number 9....I've got a feeling that she may well have emigrated to sunny climes a few years ago but if she still has a facebook page or you can google her she might still have a few contacts if you can track her down.

A lot really depends what sort of style DD wants but also have a look at ballgowns, they can work out much cheaper especially if you are prepared to go for something that is slightly off the white colour...ice blue, pale pink, caramel etc etc....weddings are sometimes a little more fun and can be cheaper if you think slightly out of the box.....

Whatever DD wants or has a vision of in her head....get her to try it on...that vision isn't always the perfect dress so basically don't rule anything out until its been tried on....my perfect went from white and plain to pink(not shocking but a delicate sheen) and lace simply because its what suited my skin tone best and until it was on I would never have chosen it just by seeing a picture

Once she knows a style or a designer it becomes really easy to track down the cheapest as there are loads of possibilities on facebook etc to search...but I guess its nailing what she wants first!

edited to add.....actually if she's brave enough go into the designers shops in london ...again its a case of nothing ventured nothing gained, they have to clear their stock at the end of a season too...
I didn't do it but I do know someone who ended up with a Sassy Holford gown at a fraction of the price by simply pestering them and then being offered first pick when it went into the sale...sometimes its about being in the right place at the right time.

Bet you cant tell...I love a wedding and planning them!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

    Mcguigan Classic Cabernet Sauvignon 75Cl
It should work, it all depends on when A 6 for 25 finishes and if T picks the 6 for 25 up
works out at 2.86 per bottle and if you want or need you can buy 18 bottles because the BG will be 19.50
    plus fillers as usually

The diablo only buy in 6 or 12
