I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb!! I think you will spot DD quite easily too :rotfl:

I think it's brilliant. Go you! And bless your DD for getting in the spirit too. I must admit if I was in your shoes, I'd not be ready for white hair either. You've earned the right to be whatever colour you like.

I quite honestly had no idea you were so young Di. It doesn't make a difference to what you've been through and are still going through, but it does strike a chord. I barely get through a month lately without hearing stories of people of 'our' age and younger dealing with this horrible disease in whatever form it decides to attack people. Awareness and research into cures is something we should all invest in :A

You get an acknowledgement email the day after purchase to say the points are going on. The email came in but only one item was acknowledged instead of 3.
The situation won't change in 10 days or 10 years - only one set of 40 points will go on.
The missing points will have to be added manually

So that's a "no" then? :rotfl:
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

I am just over the 3k now so I get all 5 bonus offers - useless as they are. This week it includes I've got 2 hot drinks and scones for £6 :(

I activate them every week but never use them

mhoc I had the most insulting email from Morries today spend £10+ between some dates in March and get 250 points for every £10 you spend.

25p for every £10  is that a joke?? It's hardly going to get me rushing to Morries but I wonder how many muggles will do it as they toil towards their next very hard earned £5 voucher.

To be fair, on OH Morries cards I have had 2x 5000 points when you next spend £40. you still have to buy a banana to get the 5000 voucher on 'your next shop' though.

Anyway that's my moan. How are you? I've been terribly lax at keeping up but I hope your children are not scattered so far you've lost tabs on them all and I hope your OH has removed his smalls from the radiator. They would actually be crispy now if they were still there because I've not read properly for a couple of weeks :o

My road trip on Friday with BQ to celebrate Di's achievement is my BIG THING. I've been a bit hermit like lately and it would be very easy to keep being like it. But some conversations I've had with Di privately have been a bit of an !!! kicking for me. I will thank her in person for that on Friday. I won't touch her hair in case I go home purple though :rotfl::rotfl:

But some conversations I've had with Di privately have been a bit of an asskicking for me. I will thank her in person for that on Friday. There will be at least some people who see 250 and automatically think £2.50 though. The email obviously isn't aimed at you.

EDIT: Yayyy, I've got it through!:j:rotfl: I was trying to solve the conundrum of quoting your post without using the 'censor' exclamation marks in it, as my own policy is either to use words that get through or otherwise to avoid them altogether (the 'censor' is pretty ineffective and, indeed, doesn't really amount to censoring your message as I still knew specifically and exactly what it meant and with no doubt about it at all). However, I note that "asskicking" is acceptable, but "!!!" isn't:(.(:rotfl:) Such a shame that the three letter word, by itself, is wrong! (Everything we most to want to say and is the most right thing to say in the context is always wrong isn't it, and some people think it's a shame that there is even a rule against such a thing at all:rotfl:.) As for the double-word though, it's correctly spelt too, without a hyphen, as two words made into a single compound word just the way it should be:D. So, yes, that's the way to get it through:D:j:j (yayy, I am immature:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

You have only created one picture in my mind. A lady who took time out of her own personal hell to re-assure, amuse , insult  and let someone know they weren't alone. I won't forget that.

I'm not getting soppy about it. We all say when we are afflicted......'if I can help one person.....blah blah' you did and that's why I've decided you are deserving enough to have some class at your do on Friday......so glad BQ agreed to come, I had no idea where I was pulling class from otherwise :p :rotfl::rotfl:
