Are you able to buy 6 eggs in one go, or should i just stick to 3?

:hello:You can get six in one shop but it's about the size of your APG. Benefit of six, I suppose, is that you can get one each of six different ones, so fewer fillers required. Indeed, that womble, that gave well over £10, was eight different items from nine 'large' Easter eggs - a £30 spend giving £16.20, so, maybe it is reasonable, if you are spending £20+ in the first place.

Seventh item could be even numbers of individual Creme eggs:rotfl:.

thanks everyone for asking after master skint ( I loved that!) happy to report that once he had settled down and the colour returned early this evening he was able to sort his skittles into colour and alphabetical order and all was well again. I was going out tomorrow but not taking the risk now as I would be 2hours away if the school was to ring.

here's hoping for another glitch, I've not gone out for eggs as I already have a table full and have now eaten 3 of the gits as the packaging fell apart in my hands...

off to make a cuppa, think I have deserved that today

See you all nice and early tomorrow - Night all x

I can identify with you TS and hg.:A

Dads can be such powerful figures in your life. I worshipped the ground mine walked on and I lost him when I was only 21 years old. At the time I didn't think I could live without him.......:o

This will be ancient news by the time I get here:rotfl:.

    White Potatoes 2.5Kg, 29p in A.

Typical:( that I bought multiple quantities of some 1.3Kg potatoes at 28p in M earlier on and was therefore shortchanged on them. I just thought that that price wouldn't be beaten elsewhere:(. So, another overpayment:rotfl:. The only consolation I have again is that the A in which I saw the price label was completely OOS. They will never ever look good at £1.43+ prices after this:rotfl:.

Of course, the only aim of having the veg. at 29p is to get people into the store, in order to do their full shop there and buying other items at full price. They are simply fighting out to get people into the store on the basis of the cheapest veg. - they don't expect people to pick up the 28p/29p veg., buy that and then leave - they are hoping for your full shop and for you to assume the other items are good prices. Yet, of course, some of them are not as you do need to go elsewhere to get other veg. cheaper which isn't 28p/29p in their store. It's not precisely the same veg. on offer in each retailer. You can't just get everything cheapest in one store but, especially with these offers that have you likely to assume otherwise, you do need to shop around even more. Or else wait for the price update, split your shops in A and hope for comp. vs 28p M on some items (that aren't 29p in A).

    Hugs to everyone today.

TS, I am so excited by your kitchen, can we have regular updates please. I love your larder... but where the heck are you going to store your stash!! x

I'm going to give Henlans a discount for taking it off my hands. :rotfl:

Seriously though I have reorganised my garage stash room and a lot of it will stay out there to be honest. Most of my more recent buys have gone straight out there anyway. I don't shop like I used to so things are gradually being used and not replaced.

I know I had the chocolates go mouldy out there last year but now we have the room vented nothing is getting damp. And I guess the concrete floor and pointing will have dried out now.

If I get stuck I can always take over a shelf in Mr TS's new larder the other side of the house. :D

I think I'm back to normal (body clock wise at least :p) It helped that I had something I had to get up and out of the house for this morning. DH on the other hand was still snoring when I got home at just after 11, so I poked him awake and made him take me to A and womble while I did the shopping. All he found was one worth 16p :D
