Morning luvlies, everyone is out so nobody to share this with. DH has just had a phone call from solicitors, we've completed on the house we are buying :D

Sold our house back in August when the girls had their joint baby shower. The house we were after went to probate and we didn't want to lose our buyer so luckily the family who owned it allowed us to rent it while probate was going through.

So it's now officially ours and we can make a start on the garden next week :)

Wonderful news I hope you will be very happy there

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

It was sunny when I got up at 9.47am  I had intended getting an earlier start as had several things to do. Oh well, I've managed to make a start :)

Busy sorting my meds for the coming month, got interrupted, well no, I interrupted myself to make a phone call, that took half an hour to get the person I wanted as she was busy. Now that's all done.

Had been waiting for call back to hospital for my other eye to be done, hadn't heard so I phoned last week to be curtly told I need to be refered back to hospital by GP or Optician  I explained that Consultant had said that he would do both eyes due to the threat of glaucoma, this bloody woman says that I will get notification probably mid May to see Consultant again.

Anyway, hospital have rung me this morning, lovely lady, telling me there is a cancellation on this Thursday 2.15pm, did I want it :) Yes please.

    So far so good.
. That's great news, lucky you phoned when you did :)

Are the 500g 29p Parsnips still N/A against W today? Just wondering if I can use them in that way. I can see W's equivalent on w.com. It was there all along but was not picked up on the APG end of last week. It would be really helpful if anyone knows (someone is sure to buy them today!) that can let me know. TIA.

EDIT: Or Spring Greens. I notice they are also 29p - but W showing OOS on msm:D. They may be in the APG system and compare for up to 7 days though:( - so, if anyone knows about these, as an alternative, that will help. Many thanks!:)

Thanks mrsmac. It's much quieter where we are now, in a little cul-de-sac, neighbours seem nice too :)

I have no hot water

Plumber took out kitchen sinks this morning, we must have a bloomin air lock. :(

We didn't notice as we have the electric shower now, thankfully we do to be honest. Whole system has to be drained down Wednesday anyway so looks like going to have to put up with it until then. :(

    Hi everyone,

I'm seeing a lot of reports about these threads lately and I'm surprised because it's always been a nice community itself within MSE.

I don't want to see reports about this thread anymore - if it becomes enough of a resource issue, we will have to delete the threads each time. I don't want to do this as you guys post some great stuff up here. Please help me by not provoking each other over silly stuff anymore.

    We're all adults...right?

Just a thought, why don't you deal with those that continually disrupt the thread? Until that issue is resolved we will continue to have problems on here.

Potential small glitch on tins of dog food. Remember the cheese and turkey mince glitches, well I think these should work in the same way.

A load of the six packs of Butchers dog food tins have gone into a £2.50, 2 for £6 offer. Hopefully buy 2 for a fiver and get £1.50 back.

Dunno if it is a good deal or not, but 29p a tin seems ok.

Good to see you posting! I don't have a dog so I won't be partaking! Lol
Is anything else working apart from the dry shampoo today! Thanks to CouponKathy for the lovely comments and the stash you left on my step this morning. I got the shock of my life when I opened my front door this morning!! great xx
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)
