Correct - it's not gone!:rotfl: It was available in M yesterday:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. The moment I cross it off - it was wrong to have done so! However, do I think it will compare? No:( - in the store I found it, I found several packs of another flavour and over £2 offer label showing for them:eek: - in amongst them was this one - but no SEL anywhere. In the extremely unlikely event that that was a price collection store, I think the collectors would not pick this product up since there is no SEL. The product, as expected, scanned at 50p. I noticed its BB date was end of Feb 2016:(. I'd hope to get a better date at A to compare; however with the lack of SEL situation - and this is the only M in which I have seen it in the past week (out of about 15 stores) - I think it stands little chance of being found elsewhere and therefore I don't think it will compare now at this very late stage (and seemingly cleared out of more Ms). However, I could be wrong - this could be on a trip around many different Ms which have not yet been through the previous RTC cycles that the other stores I've seen earlier have.

Regarding the Uppercrust 4 pack frozen pies, I am going to remove those from the list. The reason being that the best date I think I saw on those was BB end Feb 2016 so, if they are still around they are going to be beyond their date by now.

The 600g packs of own label peanuts at £1 - salted and dry roasted - were still around this week. All the BB dates I have seen on those are 31 March 2016 so a note perhaps to wait until that date and then hopefully find them knocked right down still. They'll be okay for a short while after the BB. However, will they notice the date on them and mark them down?

The worst I found, a few weeks ago, were several packs of Savers Assorted Lollies still on the shelving of one store, with BB October 2015 on them:(. They may have otherwise gone OOS of the product (comparable from SP Fruit Flavoured Lollies) so, in effect, M had discontinued it. However, if so, the product is, in the last few weeks since then, being produced again as it has made an appearance in most stores with new dates on it. It is back in M. It was lingering around, out of date, in one store until immediately before it came back. So, technically, it was never gone (as that one store had stock of it - even if left on the shelf well beyond its BB date. May still be there for all I know:rotfl:) - however it went out of most stores a while ago - including when it disappeared from mine and remember I asked if anyone had it and no-one said they did - I removed it, before I started doing my 'tour', and then found them on my tour. They are now back in my stores, as part of the new stock. Note that Sains were 50p several years ago on their clear-out, from which I believe they have not stocked since, and this did compare on the APG so, comparison vs T or M now, even if that were to work, would not be as good.

Well, I found the Quaker Warm & Crunchy again, so I am reinstating it on my list:rotfl:. I don't expect this item to work.

More of my "doubting" eh - and, once again, completely wrong:rotfl:.

I think the changes in pensions were always coming. it stinks rather a lot that they made them retrospective. it's never good to shift the goalposts.

On the bright side. Be thankful to getting to pension age, still having parents around when you do and being around to see your kids through university however hard it's made for you. it's a blessing.
