This was the best time to buy large eggs rather than before! If you can get 3 comparing £5.00 vs £3.00 S, then it works out about 50p better than the comp. on two vs the better T offer of £2 (with the Toffee Crisp back then unseen). Otherwise, the comp. on three to T at £3.33/3.34 is 40p worse than the old one.

Maybe two Randoms and a Twirl would work? Or any of the ones mentioned by Anon., as long as they have an S price. However, no point doing an extra shop and having to use fillers as the fillers would wipe out the 50p - but lots of glitch items to tempt me:D.

There's a strangeness in my As on the individual Creme Eggs. Different prices in different stores. It is therefore for me store-specific to some extent. I haven't checked all my As, since I only started looking for them yesterday: they are 2 for £1 in one of my superstores but they are 30p RTC in one of my supermarkets - and also 30p RTC at another supermarket 150 miles away from me. I went in there yesterday whilst on my Morries journey, looking for the 56 Finish but, once again, no luck:( - I am checking all stores, large and small, for those whenever I happen to be in them.

So the individual eggs were unavailable to me on my shop the previous day anyway. In the 2 for £1 store, the SA said that they wouldn't be at that sort of price until after Easter - which I tend to agree with as it seemed surprising to me that they would reduce them beforehand. I didn't expect before therefore to see the glitch we now have - but, maybe that's the point, we need expect the unexpected to happen! But they have reduced them, in some (or maybe even many?) stores. The SA said that other store at 30p "must have loads of them" - although that doesn't seem obvious to me from the quantities I can see in each store. So, I am confined to certain stores to some extent although this is definitely not store-specific: it's not just a single store in the country but is available in more than one.

It seems it's like the Birds Eye 24 dippers from earlier for me. I had them at 50p in one store - and managed to catch the very last pack - but I always saw them at £3.25 in another store and they scanned at £3.25:(. Meanwhile, the 50p SEL was removed the following day in the store that had had them, and stock of other products moved around, leaving no evidence that the 50p store had ever had them at all or at 50p.

I am starting to think that there are, very occasionally (it's not a widespread thing), different prices on items in M. That may explain the different prices I see in different stores - although the vast vast majority of the time the SELs are incorrect - half of the items I had scanned yesterday scanned at a different price to the SEL.

There are definitely items on different BCs in different stores sometimes - and they are therefore not the same item - the Pocket Calculator in some Ms is 50p but in others it is 75p - however they are different BC stock. You find it in the same store sometimes, on the fresh veg. that has "priced" (i.e. no price:p) and 32p/28p price labelling on the stock itself - the BCs have been different - and then move from one to the other, when putting the price on offer, until the 'offer stock' runs out whilst the higher priced stock is introduced at the same time as some of the old stock is still available.

The plants do this as well - the Primrose and Mini Daffodil at 50p are different BCs to the £1 stock - and the Pot Mum at £1 (I doubt there is any stock of that still left - but, as you'll see later, I suspect it will turn out to be a mistake for me to think that:rotfl:) and the ones at £1.78 - that are now the only stock I can find - are different BCs. The Harris Masking Tape generally is priced at, and scans at, 87p - however I found one store where it was £1:(. I do not know whether that store had a different BC though as I didn't take the details at the time.

I was out at M in Shrewsbury and overheard an SA conversing with another customer. They had found different pricing on an item in M in Wellington and the SA thought it was very odd as they should be the same prices - she checked the customer's item and it scanned at a different price than it did at the Wellington store. So, it's not unknown. But it is extremely rare - most of the items that I have a different SEL for, the SEL is simply wrong and they scan at the same price as they do in other stores.

Thank you - Munchies isn't sold by S unfortunately - I am trialling Twirl, Criminal egg and Randoms (only Criminal scans on A app). Also criminal, Twirl and Quality Street.

I think it may be process of elimination to find 3 visible matches against S for the best return.

May be worth adding extra fillers just in case any of them disappear completely.

But no more than 50p worth, as otherwise you lose the benefit compared to what it was before:rotfl: (on the invisible trigger vs T at £2 several weeks before). Unless you want more eggs now, or a different variety.
