what is the deal with the carling please? i have a womble here and the only thing on it is carling £10
    tia

Lots of us have been playing on the ipint app and winning prizes of £1,£2,£5 off various carlings

The app is part of checkoutsmart so its a similar claim process...once you've won the offers

(It was giving out free multipacks for a while but not for ages now!)

It will only work if you are on the old style pricing system for c&c, where you pay the price the product is when your order is picked.

Thanks for replying how do I know which system I'm on, sorry to be a pain, which system are most people on ?

Choose your delivery slot and then check below your basket total to see if it says "we have changed our pricing policy" (new system) or "you will charged the price on the day of delivery" (old system)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: to be honest i'm a little worried about ds3's sight today as he argued with me that something that was blue was grey & something that was green was gold :eek:

Evening luvlies, thanks to our lovely OPs, my face wipe, shampoo and conditioner stash has been topped up nicely :D

cheerleader, re your son seeing different colours, remember the whole white and gold dress or black and blue dress that was doing the rounds last year? I've seen a post on FB a few times recently where someone has an adidas tracksuit top. Me and half my family see it as blue with a white emblem and DH and the rest of the family see green and gold. Could be something to do with that. See linky below to Daily Mail article.

He sees blue as blue, it is just red and green he has problems with. He simply can't tell the difference.

There is different types of colourblindness, I knew to look out for it as my father was colourblind and it is normally a genetic trait.

There's a video on the Royal Institution site that shows what colourblind people see when they see red and green. it's from the BBC Christmas Lectures 1984 with Walter Bodmer.
Actually just checked and you need to visit London to see that video.:(

To summarise, a lot of what we see as red and greens look like dark yellows /pale browns like ochres, umbers and ambers and so on to people with red-green colourblindness.
