    v morries and toilteries 2 4 £4 H Essence small glitch there

Glad they bought that pack size. I have worked out why people on my wombles are getting the 6 pack though. There is a £1 price ticket protruding from the shelf:(. I nearly felt like tearing it off!:rotfl: But I didn't.

I've looked for the 56 tablet Finish and they are not in any of my five As (two superstores and three supermarkets). It would be easier trying to find the Rustler's Chicken Sandwich in M - I found it, no problem, in my first store yesterday - although that's on bog-standard £1 and is now 150g but was probably 190g before so no good!:rotfl: The Finish has obviously been on RTC and really now right at the end of that. I never have any of these RTC items in my stores - if they are, and if they put 20p, I am sure they would be completely sold out within minutes - if not taken by all the staff - except for the single pack of BE Dippers I managed to find earlier and only then because it had got mixed in with another size.

Well with all the glitching going on, I did a non-glitch shop today:wall:. I figured that, with all the items I already had on a shop, I was at the amount to spend one of my Dry Shamp. vouchers from yesterday. So I got the Kipling Cherry Bakewells after all. Of course I avoided the Bakewell Slices that work out more expensive - didn't want Bakewell Slices anyway:rotfl:.

I've solved the conundrum with the banana. I think I've managed to get a penny more by splitting them - as I got T 2p lower across them, which would not have happened if I'd got them as one. It's just chance of course as to what bananas I happened to pick up. The two together did weigh at what would have cost 24p. What happens is that, if the fraction of a penny is half a penny or more, it rounds up to the next penny when you pay. However, when the APG does the price comp., it takes the price you pay in A but calculates the competitor price and the fraction rounds down. I've seen some 11p bananas get 11p T/M and some get 10p T/M and that's why. All of no real consequence as it's a trivial 1p:rotfl:. This was probably already known on here anyway.

On this occasion, 160g (although it goes in 5g amounts so you could end up paying more or less) times 68p per kg. = 10.88p, which rounds to paying 11p, but then the 10.88p rounds down to 10p for T/M on a comp.

I moved the SP Foil to Avs T with success. The SP Choc. Digestives (we did need them as we have used up all the previous Choc. Digestives I bought) should be vs T.

9 items on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda tesco
    1x ASDA Smartprice All Purpose Cloths (10PK) £0.35 £0.35
    1x ASDA SmartPrice Milk Chocolate Digestives (300G) £0.44 £0.44
    1x ASDA Toilet Tissue (6PK) £1.00 £1.00
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemon Toilet Cleaner (750ML) £0.27 £0.27
    1x ASDA Smartprice Corn Flakes (500G) £0.25 £0.25
0.16x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (PER KG) £0.11 £0.10
    1x ASDA Smartprice Wrapping Foil 290mm X 20 metres (20X290) £0.65 £0.65
    1x Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells (6PK) £1.45 £0.72
0.19x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (PER KG) £0.13 £0.12
Comparison total (compared products only) £4.65 £3.90
    +£0.75 cheaper

Vs M, it's saying the Toilet Tissue is £2 so it comes out with 10% cheaper than M on the shop even though it is not.

    1x ASDA Toilet Tissue (6PK) £1.00 £2.00:(

However, it was not a versus M shop!

It's also comparing, even worse, against the double-roll at S - although that is less of a bother since S rarely turns out to be the best competitor and it's usually a play off between T and M.

    Vs S
    1x ASDA Smartprice All Purpose Cloths (10PK) £0.35 £0.40:(
    1x ASDA SmartPrice Milk Chocolate Digestives (300G) £0.44 £0.60:eek::rotfl:
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemon Toilet Cleaner (750ML) £0.27 £0.40:eek:
    1x ASDA Smartprice Corn Flakes (500G) £0.25 £0.25:)

    1x ASDA Toilet Tissue (6PK)£1.00£2.10:(

I did need the loo roll myself - I wasn't influenced by it because of the £1 stick-out from the shelf - of which I knew nothing before I went and visited. I think these were 55p all over the place 3 or 4 years ago so they have gone really expensive in recent years! I shall keep looking for the Finish 56 at any A that happens to be near any M I might visit. At 20p, it's almost at a glitch price:D and, in a way, somewhat easier than doing an APG shop and having to go and get 7 more items - assuming you can even find it in the first place.

I went to see my GP last week, told her I couldnt stop farting, but they were silent and didnt smell.
She gave me a prescription, two tablets a day.
I went back today and she asked how I had got on, I told her I was still farting but now they really stunk.
"Good" she said "we have sorted your sinus problem, now we can address your hearing"
  • A magician was working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. The audience was different each week so he did the same tricks over and over. The problem was, the captain's parrot saw all the shows and began to understand how the magician did every trick.
He started shouting in the middle of the show: 'Look, it's not the same hat.'
'Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table.'
'Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?'

The magician was furious but, as it was the captain's parrot, he could do nothing. Then one day the ship sank and the magician found himself floating on a piece of wood with the parrot. They glared at each other but said nothing.

Finally, after a week, the parrot said: 'OK, I give up. Where's the boat?'
