    good morning all...

I had a read back over the postings last night and it doesn't change my views on the sniping that I posted about earlier in the week...it just reinforces them....but oh well what will be will be.

cjj....that's lovely news about your job becoming permanent.I just hope you can see a way of avoiding the meddling worker so that you can get on with the job you enjoy. x

HG.....balloon...I'm very touched and humbled that you thought of me...thank you so much x

As for me....today I do need to shop, not sure where but if I get as far as A I'll chuck in some shampoo to test....continued thanks to those who find, test and post results.

    Onwards to the weekend...

You crossed into my mind yesterday Different reason

    Anyone near Norwich?

Unfortunately I have 2 tickets for the post modern jukebox gig on Monday going in my recycling bin. One full ticket on caters. Don't need to be in wheelchair to use caters ticket and doubt you have to prove disability either. Was going and booked onto wheelchair platform with carer as unable to stand but you can use a carer for all sorts of reasons.
Full ticket can be emailed to print but free/caters ticket needs posting.

Into recycling they go was a lovely birthday gift just not well enough for long trip st the moment.

    Not glitchy related!

Advice please: OH was laid off over 12mths ago and is very depressed. He was in a job he loved for 10 years but the new boss didn't love him. He has applied for literally hundreds of jobs (spreadsheet freak) but no luck. Combination of age and his skills being too niche.

Anyway, question is, he has set up a company for future work (good sign). Is it better for him to be employed as the company or as an individual? Are there pros and cons?

I rarely venture outside the ELITE and know there are those here who are both and may be able to help.

    Any thoughts please? Thank you.

Cant really help except to say that I know of two people that got start up payment about £65pw when they became self employed One was a baker(not as a good as PD) the other a dog walker They went through the DWP

:hello: The checker was down for me last night - it couldn't find my receipt details after 2 hours, or after 3 hours:( - I seemed to have managed to do shopping the system didn't pick up:(:(. However, it was not just my shops but wombles from yesterday too, it seemed to have reverted to 'check after 6am' although it did not say that - but, today, the receipts are fine. This is yesterday's information:

    2x Herbal Essences Clearly Naked (0%) Dry Shampoo (180ML) £7.98 £4.00
    (Of course.)

    1x I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light Spread (1KG) £2.75 £1.50
    1x Nestle Shredded Wheat Honey Nut (500G) £2.49 £1.00

    Even the Spaghetti Loops work:
1x ASDA Smartprice Spaghetti Loops in Tomato Sauce (395G) £0.15 £0.15

And they do slightly better than the Spaghetti:
1x ASDA Smartprice Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce (395G) £0.16 £0.16

Wish I'd gone all out risk:D on my second shop, as I bought the straight Spaghetti on that rather than the Loops again.:(:rotfl:

I was going to put a loose carrot onto the shop to get enough items as store :(OOS again on one of the items I wanted. However, I could not resist:

    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Carrots (1KG) £0.29 N/A:D

I noticed the Parsnips and Savoy Cabbage at 29p but I bet they compare much higher - Sal will know! - and they went onto a separate shop. I managed to get the biggest cabbage I've ever seen:T. Also, as you know, 1Kg Baby Potatoes at 29p - not quite 20p/kg guide these days - I may have spied sweet potatoes too - but I am still getting through the 1.5Kg M White Potatoes that I got at 32p immediately after Mother's Day. I'm going with whoopsied veg. bought on its BB date at the moment - and probably from now on - still fine for several days, in the case of Broccoli, or over a week later, in the case of Carrots - I got a Broccoli at 19p from M and a Sweetheart Cabbage earlier at 15p - also a pack of 1Kg carrots at 25p (that M obviously don't have normally at 47p:rotfl:) so not quite as good as the whoopsied price. This is given that Broccoli was 32p in M, and went down to 29p in Aldi, and then back up in both meaning that 38p (or 10% off that) for Broccoli is now too dear for me:eek::rotfl:! That's the trouble with supermarkets ever having 'good' offers - after they end, you never want to buy the product ever again (or I don't anyway, with my photographic memory of past prices) as it will never be as good as it was - however, I suppose not buying it at all now means saving money:rotfl:.

    Vs S:
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Carrots (1KG) £0.29 £0.50:eek:
    Vs T:
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Carrots (1KG) £0.29 £0.60:eek::eek:
    Vs W:
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Carrots (1KG) £0.29 N/A:rotfl:

Glad they don't use m.com as the Carrots are on there. (Goes to check m.com.) :(I notice M Carrots 1kg at 28p on m.com, so I have overpaid again:(:( - they were not 28p on Wednesday so would never have been picked up at that anyway - but note to buy carrots in M next time - or otherwise whoopsie that is cheaper than regular price. That'll teach me for not resisting something instore:( - over 90% of the time, if I do that, without checking fully online beforehand, it always turns out I have paid too much.

Check - Parsnips - 73p on m.com. Savoy Cabbage - 63p on m.com. Phew! I will never buy Parsnips or Savoy Cabbage ever again unless they are 29p or lower:rotfl:.

I don't know what trade he is in, but I know we as a limited company in telecoms/IT have found that people prefer to trade with a limited company as they seem to trust that it is a more serious company if you see what I mean.
