..and me I arrived in London yesterday afternoon in one piece with no wrong turns:)
Grandson now asleep but its been a rewarding day with lots of laughs and clapping of hands and standing with no support - his eyes tell it all. but most important no screaming:T
We went out at 9.15 walked to local T imagine my joy when I saw jiggy pies- that soon tune to sadness as there was no yellow flsh sticker on them:( but I did find the free yogurts from cos:)
popped into superdrug on the way by no irn bru :(
looked in boots in anticipation for meal deal offer via o2 for Monday - at least they have a section for it but very small area
Popped into S on the way back no biscuits ( cos)
and no waitrose nearby for the biscuits:(
so not as good a morning as I had hoped - but just received the reward from cos for the yogurts 1p profit :T

After yesterday's interview, although they said that they'd let me know next week, I was kind of hoping they'd ring today to put me out of my misery and so I wasn't sweating on it all weekend.

Well, they did. I was beaten to the post by an internal candidate. Again.

    But.

Her job has now become available and they want to see me on Monday to discuss it :j :j

I know I shouldn't get excited about it after previous disappointment but I'm sat here with only you lot for company and my asbo cat upstairs snoring on my bed :o

It's gonna be a long wait between now and Monday, but I suspect that I may have landed myself a job :j :j :j I'm not getting the flags and fizz out just yet but I had to share with someone and it might as well have been you lot :)

Excellent news. Sounds very promising. Well done. x

That's brilliant - lots of fun and no screaming. Glad the driving went OK and I see you've staked out the shopping territory so you're all set. x

    Thankyou for asking aj.
I've had a rare midweek day off and been shopping alone. Sounds silly but I do struggle with going in shops. I had a melt down in Lidl :o
As part of my exposure response therapy I was supposed to face these fears everyday but with working I've only been going shopping at weekends when oh is with me so I'm guessing I've not progressed with recovery xx

On the contrary (I'm no expert:)) but having read your posts in the past during those dark times and those nowadays I think you are making progress. You've got yourself out there with your new job, meeting people in an unfamiliar surrounding at first. Count this as a bad day, we all have them over the stupidest of things and are all prone to mini meltdowns from time to time. Think positive Your next visit will be better and if you feel you can't go you won't spend any money ;) chin up and on to the next challenge()

I looked at it for the besties hen weekend but we decided that it would only have been me and her as the others wouldn't "get it"

I'd love to try it :D
