My solicitors not on Virgin panel

So discovered this on Friday afternoon, the solicitors had not updated their paperwork but they have known for three weeks we are using Virgin. They were on Friday up dating their paperwork late Friday. The mortgage company said it will delay their offer. Any thoughts on how long? Virgin said I can always change solicitors…

I had my solicitors added to the panel of my lender - is there a reason they've let it 'lapse'? As has been mentioned, it's only the lender's legal stuff that needs to be with a panel solicitor (i.e. one they trust in advance) so will be some extra expenditure and to-ing and fro-ing.
