Advice on pension managers/suppliers?

Hi I currently have a stakeholder pension with Aviva via HL and want to move to a different provider as I'm not at all happy with their communication (Aviva, not HL). Aviva once took about six or seven weeks to pay in a cheque that I'd sent and the reply from Aviva was that this was because they were "busy". Now they have made a !!!! up on my most recent statement, saying that I'd paid in 7k instead of what I actually paid in which was £3k. HL contacted Aviva more than three weeks ago on my behalf and Aviva still haven't replied to me. I have confidence in HL but I no longer have any confidence in Aviva. I would be happy to stay with HL if they had a pension provider other than Aviva, but my understanding is that they don't.
So now I'm looking for a new provider. As well as low charges, I'm also looking for someone who will not screw up my in-payments and who will actually reply to my queries when I have them. Does anyone have any particular recommendations?
Thank you!

By definition any responses you get will be anecdotal.
You could have a look at the pensions regulator to compare statistics on complaints I suppose.
The other option is to use a platform provider and a sipp, they tend to be slightly more expensive and you have to make your own investment decisions but if you are unhappy with anything you out your money you can transfer it somewhere else quite easily.0
