how do i delete a post on this forum?

    And luckily it wasn't quoted which gets done nowadays because people keep posting silly things then removing it when they don't get the response they want.

    I think you can delete your own posts within a thread, but not if it's the first post on the thread. (And yes, that could be made more clear ...)

    If you wanted to delete the post, why then go and make a completely new thread containing the same info you wanted to delete from here?

    +1 - hope the person is ok.

    I remember when a cleaner singled out a couple of young workers to give a bottle of plonk to (absolutely didn't check their age nor think people are not to drink on duty when encouragement was given they should have a swig right there and then) and no-one battered an eyelid that they entered premises with alcohol and wide open in giving stuff away - dread to think how it could have backfired
