Hi folks,
I'm looking for advice on the best poor credit companies to use for a loan? I see there are so many and it's overwhelming trailing through them all! Thanks in advance.

What kind of debts (or debt total ) we looking at here ?
    Whats your salary ?
Whats on your credit history ?

Best way to get rid of it is to cut back on spending, do OT at work, ebay stuff.

No, first of all your score is only useful as 2 packs of digestives and 1 ginger biscuits, I can increase it if you send a cheque for £10

Seriously forget your score as lenders Do Not lend based on the score, they see the History.

What debts do you have ?

Don't go giving your card details to any website, go for the traditional well known lenders eg the banks, Tesco Bank.

Just our mortgage and a couple of low balance credit cards that we are using to improve our credit score

    Corrected that for you.

Your own bank might be a good place to start.

    So no outstanding debts ?

If your only debts are a mortgage, presumably not in arrears, no missed payments etc, two CC's, again presumably at least minimum payments made each month, why can't you apply for a loan with mainstream lender?

Please get one thing straight. There are no loan companies out there for people with a bad credit rating. But there are lots of brokers (ie scam merchants) who will promise a loan to people with bad credit if you give them your debit/credit card number. All they do it circulate your details to other scam companies who (unsurprisingly) will also want your credit/debit card number. Get the idea?

If you have a bad credit rating, then you need to work on it to get it turned around, which could take up to six years. Making one or two applications at any time won't affect your credit rating, but making lots in a short time certainly will.

But under all circumstances, keep your card details to yourself, even if any company say it 'only for verification purposes' because it isn't.
