Hi All
Just wondering as a company can wite off their interest payments on debt via the tax system could the same be done by individuals which means that we could get tax relief on mortgage, loan and credit card interest payments.
An accountant would possibly be able to answer the question - any out there?

No. Individuals can't do it. Unless you are operating as a sole trader and these are genuine interest amounts for items bought for your trade/business.0
