Cheapest keypad electric

Currently with Budget energy (keypad) - I see poweNi and Airtricity plan to reduce prices come April but but no word that Budget planning any reduction as yet.

Had a quick scan at Open electric who appear to be cheapest at 13.39 ppu. Anyone with Open electric on keypad?

Electric Ireland are 13.76 with a £30 sign-up bonus (but you have to pay it back if you leave within 12 months)

Am I right in saying that Open electric will still be cheapest once all the price reductions kick in?

I think its going to be hard to always be with the cheapest as prices change all the time. What is lowest today might be tomorrows more expensive. Best to stay with one that has no contract, then when the dust settles you can move. I'm with Click on kepad, used to be cheapest but now fractions of a penny dearer than Open. No big deal. Open are interesting because of the bonus offer, 30% of profits split amongst clients. But we wont see how that works out until Open have been going for a year
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

I was going to change to sse from budget, budget phoned me a couple of days before change over and offered me 13.74 and £30 credit (paid over 3 months) to stay with them. They advised their prices were reducing soon, same as everyone else.

I've recently changed to Click. Even with PowerNI's reduction they are still cheaper. Marginally dearer than Open but not enough to warrant changing.

Have to say Click are very easy to get through to, very friendly and helpful and their online top-up is more straightforward than PowerNI's. There was a problem with my meter and I had to get NIE out to it. Click arranged it and I got a follow up call from them the evening NIE were out to check I was satisfied with the work.

Have also previously been with Airtricity and Budget. For customer service I would rate Click first with Budget a close second.

Click sneaking into the cheapest spot from May 1st with 13.38p One hundredth of a penny cheaper than Open. Of course Open have a profit share scheme which makes then a good option
