Do they give marks for grammar?

lucky not otherwise there would be no chance!
  • anyone not fully fluent in the english language would struggle with cemap. I'd hate to witness a suitability letter by maximus! (sorry no offence)

  • Why do you people post? If you have nothing constructive to say you should consider keeping your insulting opinions to yourself.

I'd like to see how you'd all do in a language that's not your mother tongue.

    So sad...

It is not fun to make fun of someone because of the language skills. You are quite correct but there is a fundemental point to what has been said so far.

You need to be able to communicate to a basic standard - both verbally and in a written format. The job requires you to be able to take industry jargon and put it in a simple way for your clients to understand without losing the actual meaning. If you cannont communicate to a standard where others can understand you then you will be stuffed.

You also have to back up your advice in writing and the ability to put in writing what you have done is important too.

So without being harsh on the OP, they have to understand that even when they pass the exams, there will be an expectancy from employer and clients that they can be understood fully.

    Hi Homer,

That's fair enough and i understand your point. The previous posters however, were just being insulting IMO. It would be nice if these people realize that there are ways to express opinions without purposely trying to offend someone.

    Cheers
